Executive Director Overall responsibility

Executive Director Overall responsibility for planning, implementation, administration and management of statewide not-for-profit social service agency. Children & Families First serves approximately 30,000 children and families each year through an integrated system of preventiion, advocacy and direct care services including foster care, adoption, counseling, case management, parenting education, a residential treatment center for teens and programs to prevent teen pregnancy. Demonstrated capacity to lead and manage a complex, diverse organization in a progressively and consistently. Superior personnel skills crucial. Successful background in budgeting and finance, program development and implementation, fundraising, and public advocacy. A sophisticated understanding of the social, education and health care issues facing children and families at risk essential. The ideal candidate will be politically astute, with experienc working with local and state government, policy and grant making systems and leaders. Advanced degree in a related field is preferred.
