Executive Director

Are you looking for a job where you can help save lives? We are currently hiring an Executive Director to plan, organize, and direct the operation of programs and revenue generation activities in King County.

Major Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Develop & implement goals for the division in order to enhance the efficiency of the program, revenue generation, communications and community mobilization activities.
2. Recruit, orient and train volunteers with a specific focus on fund raising.
3. Act as the staff liaison to the division volunteer board of directors.
4. Plan, implement and oversee key fund-raising events. Monitor and evaluate division income performance through development of monthly campaign reports, the annual fundraising campaign plan, end-of-year reports, and needed campaign monitoring tools.
5. Prepare and manage annual division budgets on a monthly basis.
6. Manage/supervise assigned staff. Meet with staff on a regular basis to review the status of goals and to recommend changes or approaches that will enhance the efficiency and the effectiveness of program activity, revenue generation and public information efforts.
7. Manage day-to-day office operations.
8. In addition to the above, perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications include:
* Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
* Five to seven years experience in sales/fund development.
* Proven experience in management, staff supervision and volunteer leadership.
* Ability to travel throughout territory and overnight as needed.
