Director of Quality Assurance

The Director of Quality Assurance:
Provides training and consultation agency-wide as to LACDMH's standards, policies, and procedures for clinical care and documentation.
Sets agency policy regarding Quality Assurance documentation and guidelines.
Develops instructional materials and manuals.
Provides in-service training to Center Staff regarding standards, policies, and procedures.
Develops, implements, and/or reviews systems for monitoring and improving care and quality assurance issues.
Serves as the Center's Quality Improvement Committee Representative.
Conducts meetings with Center Staff to ensure coordination of training on documentation standards.
Conducts regular and ongoing review of clinical charts for all Center programs.
Oversees the Centers annual Peer Review Process.
Completes required reports.
Ensures compliance with HIPPA guidelines and serves as the Center's HIPPA Privacy Officer.
Collaborates with other mental health or social service agencies.
Troubleshoots general system issues within the Center.
Provides supervision to unlicensed staff, clinical staff, and/or interns.
Maintains clinical charts for any direct clinical services provided.
REQUIREMENTS
Licensed Psy.D., or Ph.D in psychology with a minimum of 4 years post-license experience, or LCSW, or MFT with a minimum of 4 years post-license experience, with supervisory and administrative experience.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary staff and managers.
Adheres to requirements of professional licensing boards in regard to clinical supervision.
