Director of Nursing/DON

HealthSouth is currently seeking Directors of Nursing to join our dynamic teams at our Fort Worth Rehabilitation Hospital and City View Rehabilitation Hospital. The person in this position will be responsible for providing leadership within the hospital and managing the daily nursing operations of the hospital.
REQUIREMENTS
The qualified candidate will be able to exercise sound judgment and make good decisions, have excellent communication skills both written and oral, be able to perform successfully in stressful situations, and possess outstanding leadership qualities and an energetic disposition. Additionally, this position requires a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in a healthcare related organization, preferably an inpatient setting as well as a Bachelor's Degree or higher and an active TX Nursing license. Special rehabilitation or other advanced practice certification preferred. Qualified candidates must possess a strong commitment to excellent clinical outcomes, cost efficiency, product enhancement, and high business ethics.

Inpatient services at this facility include: AMPUTATION, ARTHRITIS, BAT, BONE DENSITY, BRAIN INJURY, BURN, CONSERVATIVE BACK, DRUG SCREENING, EMG, FAA PHYSICALS, FAMILY CARE, FCE, FUNCTIONAL BRACING, GASTROENTEROLOGY, NEURO DISORDER, ORTHOPEDIC CONDITION, and STROKE.
