Plexus is currently seeking a Director–Compensation who will provide global leadership and establish strategic direction for all salaried compensation programs, including the executive program needed to attract and retain outstanding senior level leaders. Interface as a strategic partner with executives and other company management on compensation strategies and programs and execution of same. Provide consulting, monitoring and thought leadership on hourly and non-exempt salaried compensation.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development, administration and recommend budgeting for all company salaried compensation programs, strategies, policies and practices, salary structures and short and long-term incentives plans.Lead the development direction on the company’s Total Rewards Philosophy. Champion the changes necessary within the company to gain consensus on, and to execute this philosophy.Creatively develop and implement the company equity program strategy, guidelines, processes and communication while managing third party vendor relationship.Analyze and recommend annual merit increase budget recommendations and guidelines for all Plexus locations for both direct and indirect labor.Strategically manage domestic and international relocation and temporary assignment policies and third party vendor relationship. Facilitate individual compensation packages as necessary.Manage the selection, budgeting and participation in all global salary surveys.Research and recommend strategies, initiatives, and programs for executive compensation. Continuously expand and develop communications on, and understanding of company compensation programs.Lead analysis and audits of compensation programs to provide recommendations for continuous improvements that will further attract, retain, provide incentive and motivate the best and the brightest talent.Lead and manage the compensation staff including establishing objectives, measuring results, and ensuring employee accountability and development.Manage the initiatives related to the implementation of the PS Express HRIS system for all compensation related modules.Manage the annual payment processing, reporting and communication of all Plexus corporate incentive compensation plans.Set annual department budget with approval from the Vice President, Human Resources.Assist Vice President, Human Resources with strategy and presentations for all Compensation and Leadership Development Committee meetings.
REQUIREMENTS
To be qualified for this position candidates’ must have:
A minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Accounting or other related field is required.A minimum of 10 years experience in Human Resources or Compensation is required.Additionally, a minimum of 5 years Compensation Management experience in a global environment is preferred.Certified Compensation Professional and Certified Equity Professional certifications are desirable.Proven experience in a leadership role is required.The employee will be required to successfully complete all internal training courses offered by the company necessary to do the job.Employee must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary.Computer literacy in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and PeopleSoft are essential.Employee must be able to interact with a variety of personalities, make immediate decisions, have the ability to work on several tasks at any given time, and remain compassionate, and level-headed while working in a hectic, fast paced environment.Employee must work safely at all times and maintain confidentiality of all company and customer information.Some continuing education courses and seminars with minimal travel may be required.
