Tool Maker Assistant

Carlson ToolCarlson Tool is a leader in the design and manufacturing of plastic injection molds. We are in search of a skilled and motivated person to fill the position of Assistant Toolmaker/Machinist to join our dedicated team in our Troy, Alabama location! Troy is located 1.5 hours from the Gulf Coast and offers a variety of outdoor opportunities. This position offers both relocating expenses and bonuses.
REQUIREMENTS
The toolmaker / machinist assistant will:
Set up and operate conventional, special purpose, and CNC machining centers
Apply knowledge of machine shop theory and procedures, shop math, machinability of materials, and layout techniques.
Excellent communication skills and a passion for Quality are a must.
Design, tig welding for mold repairs, polishing, and toolpathing experience are all a definite plus!
