Test Communications(Engineer Scientist)

Purpose: Mid to Senior level Analyst/Engineer - Test Communications (Engineer Scientist/Analyst). Individual will provide support to the Ground Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Flight Test Execution Division. Provides T&E SETA support in the requirements definition, planning, implementation and integration of GFX voice and data communications for GMD flight test events. Responsible for working with Boeing and other communications providers and vendors to ensure communication systems are properly planned and implemented. Individual will be required to provide communications requirements input into test Universal Documentation System (UDS) documents. The candidate will be required to support or lead, as required, various working group interchange meetings that involve communications items and planning. The candidate should be able to easily work with numerous agencies and ranges, to include: MDA/DTR, PMRF, MAD/DET, VAFB, KLC, PMRF and others. Selected candidate will be tasked to use their expertise and leadership abilities to respond to and troubleshoot issues frequently on a rapid response basis and provide detailed documentation (briefings, plans, checklists) to the government test team.

Required: Bachelors Degree and Active Secret Clearance.
