Oversee, maintain, and continuously upgrade the mine Dispatch system.
System Development: Remain ahead of current industry developments regarding hardware, software, and data management.
Software research and development to serve needs of multiple mine departments primarily utilizing Dispatch system.
All field/office hardware and software testing and development. Maintain shovel, truck, drill, slope monitor, GPS system software and hardware interfaces with Dispatch.
System Maintenance: Backup files, home directories, and disk space.
Train all applicable employees on Dispatch.
Assist other ASARCO operations with Dispatch issues (i.e. hardware, software, new technology, custom reports).
REQUIREMENTS
Dispatch, Forms, C Programming, Visual Basic, GPS Survey Solaris, UNIX, D-base database, SQL Server, Windows 2000, Excel, Word, Powerpoint. Proficiency in Modular Mining Dispatch System.
Bachelor's Degree from 4 year college.
