Candidate will be given assignments supporting overall project development in software design, development, integration, testing, and documentation. Subsequent tasks will increase in complexity and cover new disciplines and/or technology areas. Candidates should have knowledge of C++ software development on a Unix-platform and knowledge of formal software engineering methods and processes. Knowledge of the UML methodology, requirements development and traceability, and related CASE tools highly desired. Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Some brief international travel may be required.General Position Description:Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for software.
