Sr. Staff Software Engineer to support the derivation and allocation of interface requirements for the Tracker software subsystem within the Fight software domain for the Medium Extended Air Defense (MEADS) BMC4I Sub-IPT in Huntsville, Alabama. Candidate must have a thorough understanding of software development practices and be able to ensure clear technical communications between US, German, and Italian subsystem software leads. Candidates must have demonstrated prior experience with software engineering practices related to requirements, design, C++ based implementation and integration using the UML OOA/OOD methodology within a CASE tool environment. A domain background in track management architectures, design and algorithm phenomonology for ABTs and TBMs is key for implementing the heart beat of engagement operations within MEADS BMC4I. Experience with the Rational Software Development Suite is a plus. Some domestic and foreign travel will be required.
