Radio Products seeks an embedded software engineer to design, code and test Talon Chameleon prototype software to add capabilities into existing and future military radio products. The responsibilities of this position include: generating/deriving, satisfying and verifying allocated requirements; modeling and simulating software designs; developing design documentation and test plans and procedures; supporting our CMM process capability. Candidates must have excellent initiative, communication and technical skills.Radio Products seeks candidates with at least 3 years experience using embedded technologies. BSEE/BSCS/BSCE preferred. A higher or lower grade may be established based upon qualifications and experience. Experience with SEI level 5 practices is preferred. Experience performing tasks based on the following tools and technologies is also preferred: - C++ - GPS - MCORE - Embedded ANSI C - Object Oriented Design and Analysis - Rational Suite including Rose RT - Greenhill - Wireless technologies. Applicant must be capable of obtaining a US Security Clearance. Must be able to travel 20% of the time.
