Senior Test Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Credence Quartet Test Engineer with testing knowledge of Digital, Memory & Mixed Signal Devices to join our team in our Phoenix, AZ lab.

POSITION SUMMARY:


The Senior Test Engineer will develop & implement testing of complex Digital, Memory, and Mixed Signal Components and will have knowledge of their theory of operation. The ideal candidate must have experience working with Credence Quartet as well as experience testing with other ATE equipment. The Sr. Test Engineer will provide hands-on turn key design solutions to test both commercial and military high reliability parts and will be comfortable with project management, production support, and sales support.


QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

* U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Status Required.

* BSEE, BSEET Degree, advanced engineering degree preferred.

* 7 to 10 year's electrical component design or test experience.

* 5 years direct experience developing, documenting and debugging test programs and hardware for the Credence Quartet, with Digital, Memory or Mixed Signal Component Test and with other ATE testers such as Advantest T5362 & Sentry 21.

* Experience with training test engineers and technicians.

* Experience implementing Lean Test production processes and SPC in an ISO 9000 component test environment.

Hands-on experience with test hardware (Loadboard, DUT Card, Socket) design, layout & construction using CAD software to document design.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

* Knowledge of and experience with ATE auxiliary equipment such as Handlers, Thermal Steam, Prober, & GPIB interfaced test equipment.

Ability to work independently & as a team member under general direction supporting Operations, Sales, & Quality.

* Good computer skills with the ability to prepare reports using MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint.

* Knowledge of Semiconductor & Microcircuit testing to MIL-STDs & DSCC requirements helpful.

* Ability to lift and carry test equipment and test articles to 40 lbs.

* Good written and verbal communication skills.

* Must be detail oriented and have a proven ability to organize, analyze, set priorities, and multi task in a fast paced environment.
