Sales Engineer

Sales Engineer Job - A leading control systems contractor and network systems integrator for building automation has an IMMEDIATE NEED for 2 Sales Engineers/Account Managers with 3-10+ years of experience selling Direct Digital Control (DDC) Systems, Temperature Control Systems or Energy Management Systems (EMS) related to commercial HVAC systems. Our client is looking for candidates that live in or near Birmingham, AL and are familiar with local clients & contractors. You will be expected to develop a new customer base including commercial, institutional, industrial, retail and contractor users. The ideal candidate will have experience in the controls industry working for companies like Honeywell, Trane, Carrier, Alerton, Andover, Ivensys, Siebe, Automated Logic, Johnson Controls, Novar, CSI or a 3rd party service company selling DDC/HVAC solutions. Our client will also consider candidates with experience selling a different product or service to the same commercial customers. You will become a consultative sales professional by helping new customers solve their DDC and EMS related problems. You will develop sales leads, qualify prospects and make initial sales calls. You will negotiate, estimate, quote, bid, propose and close jobs at qualified margins. A BS degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering would be a plus. This position has a base salary around $50K with the potential to make 6 figures as a total compensation! NO cap or limit on commissions! Excellent opportunity, company, benefits and compensation.
