Project Manager- Property Condition Assessment

POSITION DESCRIPTION: IVI is looking for entry to mid-level Architects and Engineers (2-5 years experience) to assess the conditions of buildings and prepare property condition reports. Currently, we have openings in our Corporate Headquarters in California and Florida. Property condition reports evaluate the major physical deficiencies observed and long term repair recommendations for a particular asset. Assets range from low-rise multi family and big-box retail to high-rise office and hospitality. For qualified professionals, there are opportunities to work from a home office. REQUIREMENTS:
We are looking for self-motivated technical generalists, who enjoy construction/design problem analysis and discovery and writing about their findings.Candidates must have a minimum 4 year degree in architecture or in an appropriate engineering field and a minimum of 2 years of field experience in construction renovation and/or building component evaluation, an understanding of building systems and building codes are essential.Candidates must have excellent communication, report writing, and computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, and email/Internet.Travel, mostly day trips and will encompass 30% to 40% of the time.COMPENSATION:
