OUTSIDE PLANT ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

OUTSIDE PLANT ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN Valley TeleCom Group is seeking a qualified Outside Plant Engineering Technician. The selected candidate will be responsible for engineering, staking, drafting, mapping, permitting & coordinating the installation of outside plant & carrier facilities. You will also be responsible for ensuring correct service order and work order flow and ensuring RUS specification compliance. Starting salary will depend on experience. Closing date: Friday, September 15, 2006. EOE.
REQUIREMENTS
HS diploma or GED and six to twelve month related experience and/or training. Excellent computer skills including MS Word and Excel. Experience with AutoCad release 2000i or later is strongly preferred but not required. Strong written and oral communication skills.
