Network Systems Engineer

Jackson Thornton Technologies, a leading provider of client technology services in South/Central Alabama, has a current employment opportunity for a Network Systems Engineer. Jackson Thornton Technologies is an entity of Jackson Thornton & Co., a well-established CPA and consulting firm with an outstanding reputation for quality and client service.
The selected candidate will be responsible for design, implementation, and support of customer computing networks. This will involve consulting with our clients to determine optimal technology needs, performing network assessments, and implementing a wide range of technology products including Microsoft Servers, firewalls, routers, and business software.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates should have extensive implementation and support experience with network products such as firewalls, routers, switches, and business software. Related degree or equivalent experience required. Certifications in Cisco, Microsoft, Security, VOIP, and other specialties preferred.
