WE ARE IN NEED OF MILLWRIGHTS

GENERAL DUTIES

The position you are applying for may not require expertise knowledge in all of the following but all Millwrights should have a general understanding of the following:

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic malfunctions on all plant machines or related equipment.

Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.

Repair or replace defective part, reassemble machine and test for proper performance.

Assemble, dissemble, remove, install, clean, and lubricate, as needed, shafts, bearings, gears, pulleys and other hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical parts of machines.

Use precision measuring alignment, and testing equipment

Plan, layout, measure, cut, and install plumbing, pipe and tubing.

Repair or replace gauges, valves, regulators and other components of hydraulic, pneumatic and other fluid powered equipment or mechanical systems.

Connect or disconnect electrical equipment or components that are incidental to repairs.

Perform construction and rigging activities as required.

Prepare for repair and repair zinc posts as needed.

Must be able to work in elevated and difficult positions.

Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and sketches.

Operate lift trucks and powered lifts as required.

Keep assigned areas clean.
REQUIREMENTS
SKILLS

Read and understand blueprints and spool sheets for application to assign task.

Set up work area with appropriate tools and materials in shop.

Must be OSHA/MSHA certified.

Must pass background check (no felonies).

Must have complete tool list.
