Mechanical Engineer

Purpose: Large company in Phoenix, AZ is looking for an Electrical Designer/Engineer who is experienced in the design of building electrical systems. Candidate will be responsible for producing construction plans, specifications, and calculating related reports. They will also be responsible for processing construction submittals and conducting construction observation.

Other responsibilities include:
- Load calculations of construction projects.
- Document and produce as-built drawings for existing installations.
- Selection of mechanical & plumbing equipment including pumps, fans, and plumbing fixtures.
- Create complete sets of mechanical and plumbing drawings and specifications
- Design reports, proposals, and coordinate documents.

A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required, preferably with a concentration in Physics, Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer and Mechanics. For those applicants without a degree, 5-10 years of Mechanical design and plumbing system design experience is a must. AZ Professional Mechanical Engineer Registration is a plus.
