Mechanical Designer

Mechanical Designer: Will provide support in the development and design of High Voltage and Pulse Power products and components. Will assume responsibility for detailing, light design, and complete drafting of assemblies. Fully document drawings per government and customer specifications. Complete drawing packages for assemblies and sub-assemblies; Create bill of materials.Generate 2D drawing; Apply geometric tolerance to drawing for fit and function;Generate solid modeling;Perform basic tolerance analysis;Complete designing and detailing of small sub-assemblies;Work closely with mechanical and electrical engineers and scientists to ensure design requirements; Incorporate red line changes;General computer skills in a Microsoft Office environment;Must be able to accommodate/work well in a very dynamic, rapidly changing, engineering environment. Minimum 2 years experience with Solid Works. CosmosWorks required. Experience with MicroCap desired. Experience designing/detailing HV / pulse power equipment preferred. Knowledge of government mil-specifications.
