Hydrologist I

LIMITED APPOINTMENT - 12 MONTH ASSIGNMENT

Knowledge of basic principles of geology, hydraulics, mathematics, physics, and meteorology as applied to hydrology. Knowledge of chemistry, surveying, computer science, geophysics and botany. Ability to make neat and accurate computations. Ability to write technical reports; Must have a knowledge of data assemblage and management techniques: building queries and extracting data in Microsoft Access and Oracle; knowledge of information retrieval from GIS applications and data transfer between different database structures; excellent writing skills

Fieldwork and overnight travel may be required.

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree with a major in hydrology, civil engineering, geology, watershed management or a related field.
