The GIS Database Analyst will analyze and manipulate database information through the use of structured query language to conform to set quality standards.

The Relational Database Analyst job responsibilities are:
• Use Toad as an interface to an Oracle database.
• Analyze database information in a spatial environment.
• Conduct research via the internet and through information within company library.
• Analyze/Rationalize data from multiple sources.
• Create status reports for management purposes.
• Work with team members to complete set objectives.

REQUIREMENTS
*** Must be US Citizen ***

• Degree in Computer Information Systems or related field.
• 1-2 years experience working with relational databases.
• Basic ability to write queries using SQL.
• Ability to quality check data records in accordance with established company processes and standards.
• Ability to work in a team environment and use available resources in meeting deadlines.
• Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Must be a self-starter and possess the ability to work on multiple tasks.
• Experience using MS Access and Excel.
• Familiar with Oracle 9i or 10g or other RDBMS.
• Knowledge of ArcGIS.
• Basic knowledge of Toad, PL/SQL, and/or Oracle forms generation.
• Background of telecommunications network structures, a plus.
