Engineer, Process

The Process Engineer is primarily responsible for assisting the Superintendent. He/she is also responsible for gaining an overall understanding of the production process, making him/her a compatible replacement during a Superintendent's absence. The individual is also responsible for monitoring the production process for safe and efficient operations and making innovative changes as necessary. The individual will also troubleshoot any adverse operations and effectively devise a plan of action.
Assists in troubleshooting problems and teaching others how to react

Assists in the planning and completion of production projects

Administratively track any trials, changes and continual production information

Assists in organizing and implementing any changes or trials

Makes daily checks of production output and contributing factors

Promotes daily safety communications while helping ensure a clean environment

Process customer complaints offering corrective actions.

Maintains communications with customers while helping correct problems.
Three to five years related experience as a Process Engineer.
Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering required. Pulp & Paper knowledge and/or experience would be a plus.
