Electronics Test Operator & Technician

TEST OPERATOR - 2 OPENINGS
•Verifies physical components to documentation
•Sets up, calibrates, programs, verifies and operates all related equipment pertaining to the test technician functions, per documentation, manufacture’s guidelines and IPC standards
•Inspects and verifies operation of customer products per documentation, product performance criteria and IPC standards.
•Inspects and verifies operation of customer products per documentation, product performance criteria and IPC standards.
•Able to read and interpret work instructions.

TEST TECHNICIAN
•Assemble parts or assemblies into units using hand, air and/or power tools and supervises/coordinates activities of workers
•Verifies physical components to documentation
•Performs corrective action as needed
•Sets up, calibrates, programs, verifies and operates all related equipment pertaining to the test technician functions, per documentation, manufacture’s guidelines and IPC standards
•Inspects and verifies operation of customer products per documentation, product performance criteria and IPC standards
•Troubleshoots out of conformance products to root cause and performs repairs
•Performs and records periodic maintenance and calibration as required per manufacturer’s guidelines, ISO procedures and the Quality Manager’s recommendations
•Must be able to solder to IPC workmanship standards
REQUIREMENTS
TEST OPERATOR
•Basic Computer Skills
•1 year Electronics experience or education
•Ability to work with others.
•Must be able to read and follow work instructions.
•High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

TEST TECHNICIAN
•AC/DC & Digital Circuits - Demonstrates a fundamental knowledge of OHM’s Law, Kirchoff’s Laws, power and energy, sinusoidal voltages and currents, reactance and impedance, reactive power and basic digital principles
•Component Identification/Packaging - Must be able to identify the package style and value of through hole and surface mount components
•PCB Designators - Must be able to correlate components and component polarity to silk screen symbols and pad shapes
•Tapes/Coatings/Adhesives - Must understand the use of tapes, protective coatings and adhesives in electronic manufacturing
•Soldering Equipment & Hand Tools - Must exhibit knowledge and/or skill in operating equipment and hand tools used in the area
•Test Equipment - Must exhibit knowledge and/or skill in operating digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, computers/software and other various equipment uses in the area
