Installs, repairs, troubleshoots & maintains electronic communications systems necessary for the physical control of the water delivery system of the Central Arizona Project; including land/mobile, microwave, & T-1 carrier communications systems incl. tower work, antenna, & feedline installation. Proficient w/ electronic test equipment & troubleshooting using multimeters, RF service monitors, power meters, & complex specialized test equipment. Revises written documentation to reflect current circuit configuration. Must be skilled in working with diverse customers & employees at all organization levels.


AA in electronics technology & 5 yrs related work exp; working knowledge of computers (server and workstation) Trunking radio systems, air to ground radio systems, antenna & feedline systems, proper station grounding practices & RF safety knowledge; FCC General Radio Telephone Operator's license, ISCET certification or equiv req.
