Electrical Engineer - Power/Energy/Utility

Electrical Engineer Engineer to develop and support controls and instrumentation
projects in utility and institutional environments.
Candidate must
have a strong background in gas and coal fired boilers, simple cycle and
combined cycle gas turbines, and diesel reciprocating power plant controls
systems, as well as packaged boilers and generators.

Job Requirements

Position requirements include: ability to accurately and quickly
specify field instruments and control devices in industrial applications.
Responsibilities include: evaluation of existing and design of new
plant control and instrumentation systems including boiler burner
management systems, combustion control systems, plant control systems;
development of P&IDs, I/O lists, data sheets, and procurement
specifications; logic and SAMA diagrams; bid evaluation, construction
support and on-site startup assistance.
Position will require project management responsibilities
including scope, schedule and budgetary control, as well as client
development in both the utility and institutional markets. Must have
ability to find solutions to a wide range of projects on a fast-paced, high
volume and high risk projects that are sensitive to budget and schedule;
and be flexible and willing to change direction as project changes, market
conditions and client changes dictate.
