GENERAL FUNCTION: Participation in the development of UAV engines and subsystem components. Major areas of work will include fuel injection, alternative fuels, materials, combustion, and electrical power generation.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Break-in engines for production aircraft.
•Buildup prototype engines for lab and flight tests
•Test prototype auxiliary electrical power generation systems.
•Perform detailed test plans under supervision of test engineer.
•Operate engine dynamometer and gather test data.
•Interact with customers and technical staff.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
•Position is open to US Citizens only; applicants must be able to obtain a DoD Top Secret Level Security Clearance.
•Must be able to lift and move equipment in excess of 50 lbs.
•Overtime and/or weekend work may be required.

REQUIREMENTS
DESIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
•High School Diploma required. Advanced degree in a technical discipline desired.
•Minimum 3 years experience in small engine repair, development, or testing.
•Proficient with Microsoft Office and Windows XP.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
