DVT Engineer

Duties and responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and execute design verification tests for enterprise products supporting traditional and packet voice functionality.

Work with design engineers, internal support organizations, and limited customer engagement to verify functionality, coordinate testing, and understand applications.

Responsible for organizing and maintaining test lab and network within design engineering.
REQUIREMENTS
DVT Engineer

3+ years of experience with voice-related products including:

integrated access devicesPrivate branch exchangesKey telephone systemsAnalog telephone adaptersSession border controllersSoft switchesIP telephones


Experience with analog technologies such as loop start, ground start, and E&M, as well as their digital channel-associated/robbed-bit signaling counterparts.

Knowledge of voice over packet technologies such as SIP, MGCP, SDP, RTP, RTCP, and T.38. Knowledge of data networking protocols such as HDLC, frame relay, ATM, PPP, MLFR, MLPPP, TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, RIP, OSPF, and IPSEC.

Education:

BSEE, CE, EE Tech, or equivalent is required. CCNA/CCNP certification a plus
