Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer

As a leading manufacturer of high precision parts for the Aerospace Industry, we are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team. We are currently searching for an MOT Engineer.The MOT Engineer (Manufacturing, Operations and Tooling)is responsible for the design of parts through programming and coding by developing work instructions. Set-up and edit programs in machines to run parts. Effectively reviews and programs all existing and new parts to be manufactured. Works with CNC Machinists to set up program and verify that parts are running. Verifies accuracy and resolves any design or programming issues. Monitors machinists and programs with follow-up to ensure that accuracy has been met. Performs other duties as may be required.
REQUIREMENTS
• 8-10 years experience in aerospace industry
• Familiar with aerospace machining products, materials and hardware
• Familiar with exotic metals to include Hast X,Wasploy,Titanium and similar materials
• Knowledge of military/aerospace standards and regulations
• Familiar with material supplier base
• Proficient in reading/interpreting blueprints
• Strong communication skills to include written, verbal and telephone skills• Experienced in Excel, office and MasterCam and SolidWorks maufacturing software
• Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills
• Works independently• Experience with ISO9002 and AS9100 requirements.We offer excellent pay and benefits. Salary DOE
