VC Online Admissions Representative

The Virginia College Online campus, http://www.vconline.edu/ seeks motivated Online Admissions Representatives. As an Online Admissions Representative, you will help inspire and assist people in pursuing their education goals and ultimately help improve their career opportunities. Admissions Representatives are the initial point of contact for prospective students and you will be responsible for assisting students throughout the admissions process. Successful Admissions Representatives are self-motivated, work efficiently, adapt to change well, and have outstanding communication skills.

The candidate's primary responsibilities will include:

· Interviewing prospective students and recommend qualified applicants for acceptance

· Ensuring that prospective students complete an entire application for enrollment as well as fulfilling test requirements

· Setting goals and managing to monthly and/or quarterly enrollment targets

· Understanding and embracing the college's philosophy of truly caring about students and providing excellent service to prospective and enrolled students.

· Take and/or promptly return inquiry calls from prospective students interested in knowing or receiving information about all educational programs

· Developing rapport and fostering commitment from students through phone contact and relationship building

· Becoming familiar with the objectives, requirements and content of all programs in order to make a complete and factual presentations to prospective students
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:

To qualify, candidates should have previous sales experience, strong selling skills, high ethical standards, and a desire to succeed. We're looking for dependable leaders with exceptional organization and communication skills, assertiveness, and attention to detail. Bachelor's degree is preferred, industry experience is a plus, and the position requires a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
