Technology Education Teacher

Deliver Technology Education curriculum to children ages 3-13 at one or more preschools and private grade schools for COMPUTERTOTS and COMPUTER EXPLORERS (CTCE.) Positions are available at various locations in the Greater Sacramento, area including Carmichael, El Dorado Hills, Rancho Cordova, Loomis, Folsom, West Sacramento, etc. We have several long term part-time positions working 6-25 hours per week, generally Monday-Thursday. CTCE teacher provides a quality learning experience for children in small (3-12 students) classes, provides regular feedback to parents and builds positive relationship with assigned schools and their staff. Our classes are engaging and promote unique learning experiences in a in a friendly environment. Our classes focus on connecting science, technology, engineering, math and the creative arts while using age and developmentally appropriate academic software and many peripherals.

This is the perfect opportunity for recently retired teachers, or teachers who wish part time employment using curriculum and lesson plans that are developed and field tested by educators for educators.

Applicant must successfully complete training and maintain an ongoing joint endorsement of both the school Principal(s) and/or Director(s) and the CTCE owner.

REQUIREMENTS
Must successfully complete a background/fingerprint check, Clear TB test and a minimum of 12 ECE units. Applicant should have a college degree with teaching experience and an enthusiastic desire to help prepare young students for success in their educational efforts and in the workforce of the future.

Must be willing to communicate via email frequently, have reliable transportation and high inner work standards.
