TEACHERS NEEDED - CLASSES BEGINNING - COMPETITIVE HOURLY PAY - Are you a retired teacher, teacher on leave, teacher looking for additional part-time work, or even a teacher at heart? We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic part-time technology teachers in the following Valley locations to join the COMPUTERTOTS/COMPUTER EXPLOERERS team in Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Phoenix, Glendale and Peoria. We teach our classes in day-care centers, private schools, public schools, parks and recreation departments, home school venues and community centers. The following are part-time positions..(this may be a job that works with your other job!):*Mornings and/or afternnons in day-care centers
*After-school technology classes
*School vacation weeks (typically December, February, April)Job Description: Work with children ages 3-5 and 6-12 using computers, software and peripherals in unique technology enrichment programs. We teach children's educational software titles, keyboarding, FUN-gineering Simple Machines. Lego Robotics and computer moviemaking for kids. Laptop computer, curriculum and training provided.Flexible hours with choices of morning, afternoon and after-school. Work ranges from 2-15 hours per week.THIS IS A PART-TIME JOB
REQUIREMENTS
Candidate Requirements:
-Outgoing personality and dynamic teaching skills
-Reliable, self-motivated and accountable
-Able to work independently and communicate via email on a regular basis
-Reliable vehicle, clean license and satisfactory background check
-Prior teaching experience or relevant life experience a plus
