What We’re Looking For: Teacher's Aides
Under the general supervision of the Teacher, you will assist in instructing children in activities to stimulate learning and supervise small group activities as assigned. You will maintain appearance of the classroom and playground and participate in special holiday programs and school-wide special events. You will also maintain an open and positive relationship with the children and their families, referring questions or concerns to the classroom teacher.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities You Should Possess::
High School Diploma or equivalent required
At least 18 years of age.
Completion of a minimum of 6 to 12 semester units in Early Childhood Education.
Resident of Nickerson Gardens housing development preferred.
Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.Must pass fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice.
Must have T.B. health test certificate.
