Substance Abuse Therapist/In School

The Substance Abuse Therapist (In School) performs general behavioral health counseling including intake and assessment. In consultation with other team members, the Substance Abuse Therapist decides what combination of individual, group, and family therapies are appropriate to each client and deliver these services. Services may include service determination, case management, referral, counseling, and crisis stabilization. The Substance Abuse Therapist (In School), will carry an assigned caseload and will deliver services individually or as part of a team.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be Arizona State certified or licensed as a behavioral health professional. If certified out of state must be able to be Arizona certified within 6 months of employment. Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor (LISAC). Master’s preferred.
