Speech/Language Pathologist

This position is an integral part of the Early Intervention Team. The Speech /Language Pathologist implements a home-base speech/language program for children with special needs, birth to three years of age and their families. The program includes: home-based visits with the child in his/her natural environment; parent support with activities to help the child achieve otcomes identified by the family through the IFSP process; documentation and ongoing assessment of the child's progress.
REQUIREMENTS
MUST BE A QUALIFIFIED SPEECH/LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST AND HOLD A LICENSE ISSUED BY THE ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES.

Successful completion AzEIP Standards of Practice and apprenticeship program; experience working with children, infants, toddlers, preferably with special needs; bi-lingual preferred; able to bend, stoop, lift and carry.

Must be pass a fingerprint background check, pre-employment drug screen and a good 39 month MVR.

Must present qualifications at the time of interview.
