STAFF TRAINER
Planned Parenthood Los Angeles is seeking a well organized individual with excellent anizational, communications, and interpersonal skills to join the Client Services Department as our Staff TrainerPlanned Parenthood employees are more mission-driven than in other organizations. Oversees the Client Services Training Program of PPLA, making sure that systems for staff training are in place at all centers. This individual will provide hands on training to Client Services staff in accordance with agency protocols.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Assist the Area Director/Center Managers or designee with implementing training of center staff.
•Assist the Area Director/Center Managers with the coordination of on going staff training.
•Coordinate with the Center Managers the implementation of the training program, and all aspects of the program that would effect clinic operations.
•Orient and train new and exiting staff in administrative and medical policies.
•Develop center training and implement training on Quality Management in conjunction with the Area Director/Center Managers.
•Develop center training and implement training on Safety and Risk Management for centers in conjunction with the Area Director/Center Managers.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have a strong commitment to the mission, policies, goals and philosophy of Planned Parenthood. Must be able to drive to all centers. Ability to read and implement written instructions. Must demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as within a team. Must possess a personable and respectful manner at all times. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Must demonstrate the ability to relate to and communicate with diverse communities. Must demonstrate a professional appearance and attitude at all times. A reliable and flexible means of transportation is required.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
1.Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
