Overview:
The Princeton Review’s Western Region is seeking a Program Director for the Palo Alto, CA office. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Program Director is responsible for day-to-day operations of all courses and tutoring programs, including teacher recruiting and hiring, student communication, and program quality. With the help of the Assistant Director of Programming, the Program Director will work side by side with a bright, talented, fun group of people and with an extremely bright and achievement-oriented client base. The Program Director will focus on the cultivating and management of high school and pre-professional (pre-law, med, grad and business) student relationships.
Key responsibilities:
•Course Operations: Oversee all course operations to ensure a high quality course experience for our students, while meeting or beating revenue and expense targets.
•Personnel: Oversee timely staffing of all course assignments; monitor teacher performance based on final evals and student recommend rates, and take appropriate action.
•Customer Service: Direct all initiatives to provide ongoing quality service to students to attain target recommendation rates. Ensure that the voice of the customer is heard within the office, identifying areas for improvements in service, staffing and operations that will increase customer satisfaction.
•Teacher Hiring: Create year long plan for part-time teacher recruiting, hiring and training. Oversee all teacher training events for SAT, MCAT, LSAT, GMAT and GRE.
•School-based programs: Drive enrollment growth through course quality and relationship-building with local schools and organizations.
Key requirements are:
•A bachelor’s degree
•Experience with program or event management
•Proven management and leadership skills
•Adaptability, resourcefulness and creative problem-solving skills
•Superior written and oral communication skills
•The ability to manage and balance a wide variety of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment under tight time constraints.
•A balance of both people and organizational skills, with acute attention to detail
•Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
•A strong work ethic and drive for results
