Placement Assistant

Pima Medical Institute, a progressive, private medical career school is currently seeking candidates for the position of Placement Assistant.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
•Assist graduating students in their search for employment.
•Assist the Placement Director with the pre externship meeting of all students.
•Place initial and follow up calls to employers regarding externship placements.
•Generate form letters along with student resumes for employment opportunities.
•Ensure student documents are complete prior to externship placement.
•Document and update employer requests into the system. Follow up employer requests for new students.
•Prepare letters and documents as needed for Placement Director’s weekly site visits.
•Prepare student files and complete necessary forms for weekly group exit appointments. Assist Director with exit appointments.
•Maintain the schedule of placement appointments for the department.
•Generate placement reports as needed.Pima Medical Institute offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.
Compensation: Pima's compensation package includes annual individual performance merit increases, a team incentive bonus of up to 12% of annual salary and an Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP), which is a deferred compensation plan. The ESOP is a retirement plan and is fully funded by Pima.

REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, two years related placement experience and possess computer skills.
