Would you enjoy sharing your knowledge and skills of a Respiratory Therapist with our dedicated students at Maric College - Modesto? As Respiratory Therapy Instructor you will provide your students with the skills and knowledge necessary to obtain entry-level employment in the medical field.

Maric College - Modesto is committed to providing a practical, student-centered service and support approach to education within a diverse community to our 600 students. You will work in our modern facility that includes spacious classrooms, student and staff lounges, business offices, a reception area and a reference library.

What you will do:
Provide students with a complete syllabus containing course objectives on the first day of class.
Present enthusiastic, well prepared, organized, and clear lectures and classroom activities consistent with the course syllabus.
Continually promote the development and effective use of skills in areas such as critical and analytical thinking, evaluation, communication, computation, problem solving and decision-making.
Provide the student with timely information and feedback on his/her academic progress relative to quizzes, tests, homework and projects.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of student academic and attendance performance.
Possess a thorough knowledge and understanding of all school policies, and actively participate in their implementation and enforcement.

The skills and experience you need:
Associates Degree or higher REQUIRED
Must have at least 4+ years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
RRT Certificate
RCP License.
Care management of teaching experience a BIG PLUS
Individual must possess strong oral and written communication proficiency.
Position requires exceptional social interaction skills.
Individual must be professional in all aspects of position, including appearance, demeanor, and attitude.
