Instructional Developer

Under minimal supervision, this position plans, manages and coordinates activities of designated project(s) associated with the development, evaluation, editing, and internal operations of University academic programs and/or product lines.
Job Requirements
A thorough knowledge of English, communications, technology, education, and/or business administration as normally obtained through the completion of a bachelor's degree in English, communications, technology, education, business administration, or related field.

Master's degree preferred.

Must have proven experience in a business, administrative, or higher education environment performing project management activities.

Proven experience performing editing and instructional design activities strongly preferred.

Must be able to demonstrate a sufficient level of analytical and strategic thinking to plan and manage designated projects to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget, as described above.

Must possess excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to communicate and explain University and program policies, practices, standards, and philosophy, as described above.

Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and present research findings, projects, and recommendations to management.

Must have a working knowledge of personal software packages to perform word processing activities, as well as create and generate spreadsheets.

Must be results oriented and able to organize and independently manage various projects simultaneously.
