Faculty Coordinator

Pima Medical Institute is a progressive, private school that offers Certificate and Associate Degree programs in numerous allied health professions. We are currently seeking candidates for the Faculty Coordinator position for our Mesa, AZ campus.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:- Oversee the implementation of Pima Medical Institute curricula.
- Participate in the screening and interviewing of instructors.
- Recommend final selection of instructors.
- Orient newly hired instructors to Pima Medical Institute policies, procedures, and curricula.
- Write instructor 30, 90, and annual performance evaluations. Review instructor performance evaluations with Campus Director and participate in their delivery to faculty.
- Mentor instructors in educational methodologies and classroom management.
- Observe classroom instruction. Meet with individual instructors to review and assess observations and develop strategies for instructional improvement and growth.
- Assist instructors with the development of class calendars/schedules, instructional materials and the coordination of guest speakers and field trips.
- Provide on-site instructor continuing education opportunities.
- Coordinate with Corporate Education Director to ensure adherence to Pima Medical Institute policies, procedures, and curricula.Pima Medical Institute offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.Compensation: Pima's compensation package includes annual individual performance merit increases, a team incentive bonus of up to 12% of annual salary and an Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP), which is a deferred compensation plan. REQUIREMENTS
Baccalaureate degree in Education or related field. Five (5) years of classroom experience teaching adults. Knowledge of educational theory and methods. Knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point and other Computer skills. Experience in an allied health profession preferred. Any equivalent combination of training, education or experience that meets the minimum qualifications.
