Electric Training Instructor

Delivers classroom training (Line Assistant, Apprentice Lineman and related Journeyman Lineman skills for both underground and overhead electric distribution) as needed. Develops written and performance tests. Consults with internal clients to assess employee job skills, issues and needs. Conducts needs assessments and task analysis to establish employee learning objectives. Designs and develops job aids, lesson plans, performance support tools, and student materials for instructor led, self-paced, CBT, and WEB based programs. Evaluates tools, equipment and work processes for related electric distribution crafts. Supports the Distribution Operations Division for electric distribution jobs.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be a Journeyman Lineman and hold or eligible to hold a Class A license. Knowledge of adult learning principles normally acquired through college-level courses or company sponsored courses is desirable. Experience in consulting, needs assessment, and instructional design is desirable. Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly with all levels of employees. Experience with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Project is preferred. EOE
