Educational Sales Representative-SAN FRANCISCO

This position is accountable for effective sales and promotion of Houghton Mifflin Company products to public and private schools and districts.


Requirements

Travel Percentage: 50%This person will be responsible for calling on schools to promote the sales of K-8 materials. Requires 3-5 years K-8 teaching experience with a focus on reading lanquage arts and math, exceptional communication skills and genuine interest in education. Publishing industry experience preferred. Travel is required. This person must be a self-starter people person, detail oriented and very independent. Excellent organizational, verbal, and written skills are necessary as is facility with Word and Powerpoint. Enjoy an exciting, fast-paced, professional and challenging work environment.
