Diabetic Educator

Department: DiabetesShift: Variable daysHours: FT preferred, PT possibleJob Details: ADN required, BSN preferred - CDE preferred or maintain 15 hr/yr of CE in diabetic topic - Minimum 2 years clinical care of diabetics (both type 1 & type 2)required - Current Wyoming RN license required - Current CPR required - Responsible for diabetic screening, assessment and teaching for inpatients and some out patients. - Must be able to assess learning needs of patients, teach and follow patient management protocols. - Computer literacy and excellent verbal/written communication skills are essential.
