Adjunct Contemporary Mathematics Instructor

Bradford School of Business, a career college located in the Galleria/Greenway area, seeks daytime adjunct general education faculty to teach Contemporary Mathematics for the fall term beginning in October.

Faculty will be responsible for the following:

Prepare outlines and daily lesson plans to correspond with the prepared course syllabi.
Conduct classes.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, progress of students and reporting in a timely manner to administrative or supervisory personnel.
Demonstrate a professional and mature attitude at all times and in all interactions with students.
Work with existing faculty and staff personnel to determine the needs of the campus library.
Assist with library research needs, information gathering and making textbook recommendations.

REQUIREMENTS
Requirements

The candidate must possess a master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline or hold a minimum of a master’s degree with a major in the teaching discipline. Applicants who do not meet these criteria will not be considered.

Although teaching certification is not required, the ideal candidate should have 3 – 5 years of experience working in education and possess excellent communication skills (both written and oral). The candidate must also be able to work effectively in a team environment.
