Warehouse Supervisor

This position reports to the Warehouse Operations Manager and is responsible for supervising and monitoring the daily work of 10 - 30 the warehouse associates.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
Forecasting workload of crew (scheduling as appropriate)Completing productivity reportsPerforming audits and evaluations of departmentProviding training and development for associatesEnsuring and maintaining sanitation levels according to Smart & Final standards.Candidates must possess the following skills:
Ability to work with minimal supervisionExperience working with engineered labor standardsGoal driven with demonstrated ability to multi task in a fast paced environmentExperience with metric based reporting and planning toolsExperience with conflict resolution and associate relationsExcellent oral, written, analytical and presentation skillsHigh attention to detail and follow through skillsPossesses intellectual curiosity to constantly seek process and performance improvementsCapable of working flexible work shifts/assignments as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
Two (2) years warehouse supervisory experience, preferably in a high volume business /"big box" retail environment. This experience should include the ability to effectively use positive reinforcement. Must value relationships and uses interpersonal skills to motivate associates to success. Must have general PC knowledge (including Windows environment), and experience with radio frequency equipment is preferred. Experience with voice picking, a plus. BS or BA and/or related experience.
