The Shipping Lead position requires intensive attention to detail, conscientious follow through, excellent organizational skills, pro-active problem-solving, with an ability to handle high-pressure situations with finesse. This position supervises and leads a small team of full time employees as well as temporary workers in the fulfillment and shipping functions. Overtime is required during peak production periods and for additional coverage as needed.

Ivey Imaging, a leader in wide format graphics seeks a Shipping lead who will ensure courteous, prompt and accurate handling of fulfillment, delivery and purchasing requests from Ivey customers, both internal and external. This position requires the ability to manage multiple priorities with little supervision; excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; and a thorough understanding of processes with respect to local, national and international couriers via air and ground freight.

REQUIREMENTS
Shipping Lead

Requirements: (physical demands, experience, training, skills or education)
Minimum 2 years in a shipping/receiving or dispatch position
Experience in printing, photography, design and/or customer service industries helpful
Minimum of 2 year of warehousing and fulfillment experience
Purchasing experience is preferred
Computer skills including basic navigation in Mac or pc platforms; efficient utilization of e-mail;
Working knowledge of Excel and Word, including word processing and data entry
Ability to learn and utilize company MIS systems as they pertain to the Shipping/Receiving department
Ability to sit, stand and walk; reach, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, and crouch; must be able to lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds
Ability to work around moving mechanical parts; exposure to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; and a noise level from quiet to moderate
Forklift Certified
