STEVEDORE SHIP SUPERINTENDENT

Metropolitan Stevedore Company, an equal opportunity employer, is looking for a qualified applicant to direct the activities of union steady workers and casual laborers engaged in loading, unloading or moving of ship's cargoes.
REQUIREMENTS
The position will review day to day operations of ship and cargo while in port. Minimize damage of cargo and injuries to persons. Applicants should be computer literate; have at least 5 years (less ok for Trainee position) experience in maritime industry; knowledge of longshore's union policies & contracts, harbor & port procedures and governmental & safety regulations.Compensation package includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, and 401(k) plan.
