Packaging, Batching, Maintenance Tech, QA Food Tec

Portionables, Inc. is a creative designer of gourmet food solutions located in Bellingham, WA. We are looking to fill the following positions for 12-hour shifts.

Packaging -- Assure smooth and efficient operation of packaging products and equipment. Demonstrate ability to operate all packaging room equipment, troubleshoot equipment stoppages not caused by mechanical failure. Computer knowledge, good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail and strong numbers skills. Consistently working in cold (32F) conditions. Must have ability to be forklift certified.

Batching— Responsible for accurate preparation of batches for production using a check-off recipe sheet. Assembles batches by weighing and measuring ingredients. Keeps accurate records.

Maintenance Tech-- Provides equipment/facilities technical maintenance and preventative maintenance in a food production environment. Experience with electronics, pneumatics and hydraulics is essential.

QA/Food Tech-- Documents quality assurance programs including monitoring HACCP, lot trace, GMP’s and SSOP’s. Performs on line product quality evaluations, samples finished products, waste water and raw materials and oversees employee good manufacturing practices and sanitation procedures.
