Operations Manager

COMPANYOur client is the largest retailer in their industry with $13 billion in sales annually, working through the online, catalog, and retail-store channels. The company is expanding internationally through new acquisitions and currently hold approximately 1,600 stores worldwide with approximately 50,000 employees. Our client is looking for an Operations Manager to supervise multiple departments at their fulfillment center in the Inland Empire of Southern California.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Operations Manager will be responsible for management of a multi-shift automated facility. Some of the responsibilities of this position will include:Supervision of a multi-shift environment, shipping, and replenishment.Establish daily production schedules to ensure production time frames are met. Meeting departmental and facility-wide goals and objectives. Improve customer service and accuracy levels. Ensure adherence to OSHA standards and HR guidelines.
REQUIREMENTS
MUST have a BS - preferably in logistics or industry related field Industrial Management experience with minimum 5 years experience in automated, multi-shift warehouse environment Currently in a similar environment supervising multiple departments Knowledge of all areas of warehousing with oversight experience in WMS Effective organizational and Prioritization skills Ability to function in a deadline driven environment.
