Materials Supervisor

Responsibilities
Will supervise a small team of Inventory and Production Control personnel along with Shipping and Receiving. Will be a liaison to the Manufacturing Manager, Production Manager and Purchasing Department. Will ensure accurate inventory levels and maintain and suggest improvements to department processes related to the Materials functions.

Will work to become the one who will also develop & implement production control and material handling functions (cycle counts, shop scheduling/dispatching, material requirements, JIT processes, Lean Manufacturing).
REQUIREMENTS
3-5 years of industry & supervisory experience; knowledge of MRP or ERP systems.
Strong communication skills.
Previous experience developing/ reviewing procedures and processes.

BS degree a plus

Salary DOE $30,000 to $45,000
